Position Title: Corporate Receptionist
Location: North Bethesda, Maryland
Reports to: Office Manager or HR Manager
Position Summary:
The Corporate Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, guests, tenants, and team members. This position is responsible for creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere while managing front desk operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is polished, personable, and highly organized, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system; take and relay messages accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area.
• Coordinate visitor sign-in and security procedures; issue guest badges as necessary.
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining contact lists, preparing documents, and managing office supplies.
• Assist with coordination of internal meetings and events, including conference room scheduling and set-up.
• Support other departments with various clerical tasks and projects as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a corporate or real estate environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
