Position Summary

The Corporate Receptionist is the face of Melan Property Management at our North Bethesda headquarters. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional environment for all visitors and providing essential administrative support to the team. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and thrives in a dynamic office setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors at the corporate office.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain the reception area and conference rooms in a clean, organized, and professional state.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team and property management staff.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Order and maintain office supplies inventory.
  • Support special projects and company events as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
